For those with a sweet tooth, the Torrija is a delightful treat that shouldn't be missed. A Spanish take on French toast, Torrija is made with thick slices of bread soaked in milk, then fried to golden perfection. Topped with cinnamon and sugar, it offers a deliciously sweet ending to any meal, making it one of the restaurant's signature desserts.

Paired with the Rabo de Toro-a tender, slow-braised oxtail stew-these dishes offer a taste of the heartiness and bold flavors that are a hallmark of Spanish cuisine.

Another highlight is the Pulpo A la Brasa Sobre Cama de Patata, a grilled octopus dish served atop a bed of soft, perfectly cooked potatoes. This dish combines the smoky, slightly charred flavors of the octopus with the comforting textures of the potatoes, creating a delightful harmony of flavors that will leave you craving more.

What customers say?

“ We went thanks to Uncovercity, who arranged the reservation for us at this restaurant. It was a pleasant surprise, and we really enjoyed the food. Impeccable service. Another dish they served us, which isn't in the photos, was tripe, which was truly delicious. Very happy with the experience. We'll definitely be back! ”

“ The restaurant is very well located, next to the Cervantes House Museum. The food is delicious and the service is superb. We had the set menu on a Wednesday and the value for money is excellent. 25 euros per person (not including coffee) with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. We will definitely be back. ”

“ The first time I went to this establishment, it had been recommended to me. We ended up eating at a high table because the place was full and we had booked at the last minute. The service was excellent, and the place is quite nice. The food was delicious and very well prepared. We ordered a very tasty and slightly spicy salmon tartare, the sweetbreads were also very good, the fish meatballs were delicious, and finally, a very juicy mixed grill. And the quality of the ingredients was excellent. ”

“ Homemade food that was absolutely delicious! We loved the potatoes in a rich sauce! And the oxtail and the French toast were simply amazing! The service was exceptional, incredibly friendly and polite. We'll definitely be back! ”

“ A very good restaurant. We ate there on Saturday and everything was perfect. Before our meal, we had a glass of wine at the bar area; they give you a small tapa with your drink. Then we went into the restaurant. We had ordered some quarters of suckling lamb and it was spectacular. Very well prepared and very flavorful. We also ordered some calamari as a starter, which was also very good. They have a good selection of wines. ”

“ An extensive menu of well-prepared dishes, although somewhat limited for the price. The octopus is delicious if you like it tender, and the monkfish and shrimp meatballs are exquisite. The hake cheeks are also delicious, but they don't come in the correct quantities and are quite small. I'd like to return to either reaffirm the 4 or give it a try for a 5, which is what one would expect for a dinner price of €43 per person. ”

“ It's one of my favorite restaurants in Valladolid, and I'll never tire of going back. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the place, and the attention to detail are unbeatable. And when it comes to the food, it's on another level; whatever you order, you know you're going to get it right. The oxtail, the croquettes, all the stews, and of course, their wonderful cake! ”

“ We started with the appetizers: a burrata salad (a 10/10), delicious fried squid with black aioli, one of the best salmon tartares I've ever had, and spectacular artichoke hearts. For our main courses, we ordered monkfish and prawn meatballs in a crustacean sauce and cod "a la tranca" (I didn't have time to take a picture ). Everything was a total success, absolutely delicious. The waiters were lovely and very attentive, and the restaurant's atmosphere was top-notch. We will definitely be back ”
